June 19th, 2019:
THIS WAS SUCH A FUN DAY! I was reached out by my now friend, Madison Lane, on Instagram if I wanted to come into the city and shoot some looks with her for the PR company she worked for, AMPRNewYork. This was the first time I was ever reached out by a photographer to come and shoot some looks for brands. I was so flattered and excited and, of course, I said hell yes!
I was asked to bring a variety of shoes and accessories to pair with the outfits I was going to be choosing. For shoes, I wanted to keep it neutral and brought my go-to’s: my white Zara kitten heel sandals, my white Supergas, and some tan sandals – these shoes will pretty much go with anything. For accessories, I brought some gold, dainty jewelry from Mejuri, some statement rings cause those are always fun to style, and my absolute favorite pair of QUAY sunglasses.
I got to the city and met Madison at the PR’s office and she couldn’t have been nicer, along with everyone who worked at AMPRNewYork as well! I was able to pick some looks from Lush Clothing. Lulu’s, and ShopAllInFavor – the cutest pieces. Madison and I walked around NYC and started to shoot in some of her fav spots.
The First Look
The first look was this yellow midi dress with lilac flowers from ShopAllInFavor. I paired it with my white Supergas and my gold jewelry from Mejuri. Walking around, we found this yellow wall that was perfect to shoot in front of for the yellow dress I was wearing.
The Second Look
The second look we shot was the cutest, floral dress from Lulu’s. I decided to pair the look with my Mejuri necklaces along with this seashell choker to go along with the tropical vibe of the dress. To make the outfit a little more casual, I paired the dress with my white Supergas and, of course, my QUAY sunglasses.
The Third Look
The third look is this floral top that I paired with this bermuda Levi shorts that I cut myself. Bermuda shorts/long shorts were a huge trend this summer so I thought it would be cool to pair this top with them!
The Fourth Look
The last look is this two piece set that I paired with some casual sandals, some sunnies, and the same jewelry I had on before. The two piece set was already busy so I decided to keep the shoes simple and not over shadow the outfit.
