Whole Foods Conversation

At whole foods a smiley middle aged man comes up to me. As i was picking out my kale..and discreetly moving away the one with a bug on it. At first he creeped me out but, i think he was just being friendly.
Man: “Ya make a salad with that? Or cook with it? “
Me: “I cook with it “
Man: “oh ya cook with it huh?
Ya must be a country gal.
City gals just make a salad with it
They don’t know how to cook much..”
He kept saying stuff like that to the veggie restocker that was nearby and he couldn’t help but smile a little.
Truth is.. I am a country gal. As long as there are no spiders,cicadas,bees,june bugs, ants… You get the point. NO BUGS🐛🐝🐜🐞😖

I’m just shocked that you like kale at all! If I had found any bug in any food, I wouldn’t set eyes on it again, but you just keep eating it!

Haha yes, i sometime have little swings of love/hate towards kale.. Lol that was an okay day:)
